Hellishólar is located in Fljótshlíð, about 10 minutes drive from Hvolsvöllur and about an hour's drive from Reykjavík. When driving from arriving at Hvolsvöllur there is a sign to the left named Fljótshlíð. You turn to left and drive for 10 minutes until you see a sign to the right named Hellishólar.
